Bombers win EI Tournament

The Bombers claimed the championship of the Egyptian-Illini Conference Tournament by defeating Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City and finishing the tourney with a perfect 3-0 record.

Jace McWhorter went the distance for BSE, allowing just three hits while striking out eight and walking three.
The Bombers scored single runs in the second and fourth innings, three more in the sixth inning and one more in the seventh.
They also defeated Ramsey, 12-0, and Mulberry Grove, 6-5, on their way to the tournament championship.

The Bombers continued their winning ways with a win over Christ Our Rock Lutheran on Friday at Centralia.
Francisco Viramontes got the win, allowing one run and three hits while striking out two and walking three in 4 1/3 innings.

South Central 15, Neoga 6
An eight-run second inning helped push South Central past Neoga on Friday.
