South Central 4, BSE 2
Chase Dodson homered in the first inning and allowed four hits in five innings as South Central defeated Brownstown/St. Elmo last Friday at Bob Page Field.
Dodson struck out 10 and gave up five hits and two walks, and one earned run to pick up the win.
Spencer Johannes gave up just one hit and struck out two over the final two innings.
Brady Maxey was 2-for-3 with a home run for BSE.
Jace McWhorter took the loss, allowing five hits and four runs, three earned, while striking out six and walking three.

The Bombers were held to just singles by Wyatt Chandler and Nick Nelson in the shutout loss.
Brady Maxey took the loss for BSE, allowing four runs and five hits while striking out one and walking six over 4 2/3 innings.
BSE 4, Mulberry Grove 2
Dalton Myers hurled a four-hitter and gave up just one run in a complete-game effort as the Bombers defeated the Aces last Wednesday.
Blake Scoggins took the loss, giving up nine hits and four runs, two earned, while striking out seven in five innings. Conner Budnicki struck out one in one inning of work.
