Vandalia 17, Ramsey 4
Madison Lupton was 2-for-2 with a home run, double and three runs batted in as Vandalia pounded Ramsey, 17-4, in girls softball last Friday.
Bella Austin held Ramsey hitless over three innings, and Mady McCall allowed just two hits in two innings of relief.
The Lady Vandals scored five runs in the first inning and made it a five-inning game with 12 runs in the second.

Dieterich 6, South Central 1
South Central – Reid 0-3; Montes 0-3; Shuler 1-3; Watwood 0-3; Rose 1-3, run; Holmes 1-3, RBI; Buchanan 0-3; Thompson 0-2; Grzegorek 0-1, walk.
Watwood took the loss, giving up 10 hits and six runs, three earned, in 6 1/3 innings.
She struck out 10 and walked three. Rose got the final two outs without allowing any hits.
This was the first loss for South Central, which now stands at 6-1 overall and 3-1 and National Trail Conference play.
South Central 14, Dieterich 13
In the second game of the twinbill, the Lady Cougars held off a late rally to record its sixth win.
Dieterich scored six runs in the seventh inning, one short of tying the game.

Thompson got the win, allowing 11 hits and 11 runs, six earned, in 6 2/3 innings, while striking out eight and walking two. Rose finished up, allowing one hit and two runs in a third of an inning.
