15U Vandals go 2-3 at Jacksonville tournament

The 15U Vandalia Vandals went 2-3 at the CABA World Series in Jacksonville over the weekend at the Jacksonville Future Champions Complex.

In the first inning, Jaydon Lotz, Reid Well and Aiden Politte walked, and Carson Ruot’s double brought two runners home.
In the third inning, Well and Politte singles and Ruot picked up an RBI on a fielder’s choice.
In the fifth, Well singled, Politte and Cayden Hispher walked, and Conner Ray doubled to bring both home. Owen Miller singled to drive Ray home.
The game ended with Vandals runners on base.

The Vandals lone run came in the fifth inning when Hipsher reached on an error, Ray singled and Chase McNary got Hipsher home on a sacrifice fly.

In the first inning, Hagy walked and scored on a sacrifice by Well.
In the third inning, Well singled and scored on a triple by Ruot, and Ruot scored on a wild pitch.
In the fourth, Ray walked, advanced on a sacrifice bunt by White and scored on a sacrifice bunt by Miller. In the fifth, Well singled and scored on Ruot’s sacrifice fly.
In the sixth, McNary was hit by a pitch, Lotz singled and McNary scored on single by Hagy.
In the seventh, Ray singled, stole second base and scored the walk-off run on a single by White.

In the second inning, Ruot walked, stole second and scored on an RBI single by Ray. In the third, Lotz and Hagy singled, Well doubled to score both runners and Hipsher’s sacrifice bunt scored Well.

In the fourth inning, Willms singled and McNary was hit by a pitch.
Willms scored on a single by Hagy, and McNary scored on Well’s sacrifice fly. Ruot tripled and scored on Politte’s fielder’s choice.
In the fifth, White doubled, Miller singled and Willms pounded a three-run homer. In the sixth, Lotz walked and scored on double by Ruot.
