? The St. Elmo/Brownstown High School cheerleaders will hold their annual chili supper and Spirit Night. A chili supper is served from 5-6:30 p.m. in the St. Elmo High School cafeteria. The cost is $6. It is followed by Spirit Night at 7 p.m. in the SEHS gym, with players and cheerleaders introduced. Admission is one canned food item or $1.
? A preorder bake sale fundraiser for Mary Brown of St. Elmo, who is battling Stage IV cancer is being held, with orders taken through Nov. 27 at St. Elmo Library. Available online on Facebook at Team Mary Fights Back are pans of cinnamon rolls; dinner rolls; loaves of bread; pumpkin logs; iced sugar cookies; apple, cherry or pumpkin pies and gourmet caramel corn with nuts. Orders may be picked up on Nov. 27 at 10 a.m. at the library.

? Bingo at the American Legion Home in Vandalia at 7 p.m.
? A Nar-Anon meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Northside Christian Church, 1845 W. Jackson St., Vandalia.

Sunday, November 24

? A soup lunch benefit for Mary Brown of St. Elmo is being held from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at The SHED, 412 N. Walnut St., St. Elmo. Free-will donations will be accepted for soups and desserts, and a cash and carry bake sale will be held.

Monday, November 25

? The Vandalia Lions Club meets at Ponderosa Steakhouse. The meal is at 6 p.m. and club meeting at 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday, November 26

? The Alzheimer's support group at Aperion Care, located at 221 Cumberland Road in St. Elmo, meets at 6 p.m.
? The Vandalia Rotary Club meets at noon at Ponderosa Steakhouse.

Thursday, November 28

THANKSGIVING
? The 13th annual Community Thanksgiving Meal provided by Fayette County Habitat for Humanity will be served from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the American Legion Home, 321 S. Seventh St., Vandalia. There is no charge. Anyone needing a ride can call 367-5905 and leave a message by next Tuesday. Those wishing to volunteer can go to Free Community Thanksgiving Meal page on Facebook.
