Lemonade Raid is this Saturday

The annual Carson’s Lemonade Raid, held to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research and Children, will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. this Saturday at County Market in Vandalia.
Carson LaDage, the son of Vandalia native Todd LaDage and his wife, Darla, and the grandson of Bill and Sharon LaDage of Vandalia, has been holding the Lemonade Raid in a number of communities in response to being treated at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
According to family members, he is “doing very well, primarily due to a drug trial he entered almost five years ago and was able to remain a part of longer because he showed such progress. His tumor remains stable.”
Eighty-one cents of every dollar given to St. Jude goes directly to research. Research is critical not only in the case of Carson LaDage, but in all cancer cases.
Last year, more than $26,000 was raised through 14 Lemonade Raid stands.
In its seventh year, the Raid has raised more than $100,000 for St. Jude Hospital.
