The debate on Thursday evening for the candidates running for office was not always fair.
Like the one between Brian Stout and Jason Plummer, who are running for state senate.
Brian was asked to speak first each time. They should have taken turns. Brian should have had the right for a rebuttal, but he did not get to.
Anyone running for office and to be at a debate should talk about what they hope to do for the area they are running in, not call his opponent names and spread lies, as Plummer did to Stout.
Guess he never grew up; he certainly was not taught the Golden Rule – Do unto others as you want them to do to you.
Sometimes, we need to vote for the person, not the party, and this is one of those times. Yes, I am a Republican. Brian Stout is family, and I’m very proud of him.
He’s a Christian, a very good family man, he’s honest, kind and a caring young man ready to help this area that’s been neglected for so long.
Brian is a hard-working young man where nothing was handed to him like a rich boy. He knows how an average family lives.
Since I am not running for office, I can tell the truth.
Yes, I have voted for Brian Stout and I’m proud to do so.
