In junior high volleyball action on Tuesday, Vandalia Junior High School’s seventh-graders lost to Pana, 10-25, 10-25. Their record is now 5-8.
The eighth-graders defeated Pana in three games, 25-23, 19-25, 25-16. They improved to 13-3 on the season.
On Monday, the VJHS seventh-graders lost to Trimpe, 17-25, 14-25.
The eighth-graders won, 25-20, 26-24.
Last Thursday, the VJHS seventh-graders lost to Hillsboro, 11-25, 21-25.
The eighth-graders defeated Hillsboro, 25-23, 25-8.

On Monday, the Patoka Junior High School volleyball squad lost to Centralia Trinity Lutheran in three sets, 22-25, 25-21, 8-5.
Makayla Gebke had 12 points and four aces, Haylei Cline had eight points and six aces, and Shaniqua Sarchet led the team in kills with two.
Last Friday, Patoka defeated Louisville/North Clay, 25-9, 25-9, to improve to 8-2 on the season.
Macey Spicer led Patoka with 12 points, eight aces and four kills.
Last Thursday, Patoka defeated Irvington/North Wamac, 25-21, 25-21.
Sarchet led Patoka with 13 points and three aces, and Gebke had four kills.
