? International Model A Day will be held at Fred B. Johnson Park, 200 S. Spruce St., Nokomis, with restored Model A's on display from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
? The Fayette County Cancer Fund Carnival will be held from 4-9 p.m. at Rogier Park on West Fillmore Street in Vandalia. It will include bounce houses, pony rides, dunk tank and facepainting.
? WJLY Radio in Ramsey will hold its annual Fall Festival from 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. under the radio tower south of Ramsey. It includes a craft fair with more than 20 vendors, lunch by donation, petting zoo, facepainting, free hayrides and kids' games. The Southern Illinois Homecoming Gospel Choir performs at 12:30 p.m. and an old-fashioned tent revival with free ice cream and popcorn is at 6:30 p.m.
? Crown Point Church is holding its annual picnic, with the meal served from 5-7 p.m. The menu for the free meal includes fish, hamburgers and hot dogs, slaw, French fries, dessert and drinks. The picnic is open to all residents of Vandalia and the surrounding area. The church is located seven miles south of Vandalia on Carlyle Road. ? Quail and Upland Game Alliance will hold its annual banquet at the Vandalia Moose Lodge. Doors open at 5 p.m. and dinner is at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 each or two for $25 in advance, and $15 each at the door; children grades K-12 are $5 each, and those age 5 and under are free. The banquet includes gun raffles, live auctions, silent auctions and can raffles.

? Vandalia's Little Community Garden will hold its annual Harvest Festival from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Mother of Dolors Catholic Church Parish Center, Seventh and St. Clair streets. It will feature garden goods, about 20 vendors, lunch and activities for children.
? The Vandalia Historical Society will hold "Wine and Ale with Abe," a wine and beer tasting, from noon-6 p.m. on the Vandalia Statehouse lawn. It will feature live music, artisans, bags tournament and vendors. Proceeds go to the Statehouse Window Restoration Fund. The $20 tasting fee includes 10 tasting tickets and a choice of a signature wine or pilsner glass. No advance tickets; pay at the door. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcomed and encouraged.
? A cemetery walk will be held from 1-4 p.m. at the Old State Burial Ground at Second and Edwards streets in Vandalia. Free-will donations will be accepted.
? The Vandalia Alumni Foundation's All-School Reunion will be held from 5-11 p.m. at the Vandalia Moose Lodge. It includes a social hour from 5-6:30 p.m., dinner from 6:30-8 p.m., Distinguished Alumni Award presentations at 8 p.m. and visiting from 8:30-11 p.m. The cost is $25 per person.
