Carissa Lotz of Effingham and Andrew Snow of Kinmundy have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The future bride is the daughter of John and Cindi Lotz of St. Peter, and the granddaughter of Gene and Beverly Daniels of Vandalia, Ed and Doris Young of St. Peter, and the late Lyle Lotz.
She is a 2011 graduate of South Central High School in Farina and graduated from the University of Illinois in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy.
She is an accountant at Grunloh Construction Inc.
The future groom is the son of David and Marilea Snow of Kinmundy, and the grandson of Alfred and Dorothy Snow of Salem, and June Morris of Salem and the late Robert Morris.
He is a 2011 graduate of South Central High School and graduated from Lindenwood University in Belleville in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in physical education.
He is a physical education and driver education teacher at Christ Our Rock Lutheran High School and assistant basketball coach at Effingham St. Anthony.
The couple are planning a 3:30 p.m. wedding ceremony on June 3 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in St. Peter, with a reception to follow in St. Peter City Park.
