Brownstown-Sefton News

Chicken Roost News
Cogburn Rooster is really puffing out his chest as he crows and is strutting around with a definite swagger, apparently proud of his girls, Blackie and Rhonda, as they are depositing two eggs a day in their nest now. So, we may have to get an egg crate to take them to market. They might be getting in a supply for Easter eggs.
Katie, the outdoor doggie …
… is spending these warmer evenings outdoors and doesn’t seem to mind. It is good that she can be out, because she helps guard the chicken pen. I’m sure that Cogburn appreciates Katie doing night guard duty, because he has to get up in the early a.m. to crow.
