Lady Vandals fall to Hillsboro Monday

After scoring only four points in the first half, Sammi Matoush connected for 20 points in the second half to lead Hillsboro to its second win over the Lady Vandals within a week and a half, 60-49.

Hillsboro jumped out to a 14-7 lead after one quarter, and held the lead at seven at halftime. They increased their lead with a 21-18 edge in the third quarter, and were even with the Lady Vandals in the fourth quarter.
Madison Klanke led the Lady Vandals with 13 points, and Olivia Marquardt was also in double figures with 10 points.
