St. Elmo top seed at its tourney

The host team has been given the top seed and will play in the first game of the 57th annual St. Elmo Holiday Tournament.
The seeds for the tournament, which runs from Dec. 13-17, are as follows:
#1 – St. Elmo  
#2 – Cumberland
#3 – Vandalia
#4 – Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City
#5 – Mulberry Grove
#6 – South Central
#7 – Ramsey  
#8 – Clay City
The tournament opens at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13, with St. Elmo facing Clay City, followed by CHBC vs. Mulberry Grove.
On the second night, Cumberland and Ramsey square off at 6:15 p.m., followed by Vandalia and South Central.
On Thursday, the losers of games one and two meet at 6:15 p.m., and the winners of the first two games meet at 7:45 p.m.
On Friday, the loser of game three plays the loser of game four, followed by the winners of games three and four.
On the final day, Saturday, the seventh-place game is at 3 p.m., the consolation game is at 4:30 p.m., the third-place game is at 6 p.m., and the championship is at 7:30 p.m.
