MG church to host two free meals

Two complimentary evening meals are being planned for the community of Mulberry Grove.
This Thursday, First Church of Christ will be hosting a spaghetti and salad supper open to all children or adults who would like to attend.
Then on Thursday, July 28, First Church of Christ will be hosting a fried chicken supper with trimmings at the church building.  This meal is also open to all adults or children who would like to attend.
The church hopes to reach out to those in the community underserved with food by offering this meal at no cost to anyone who would like to come. You need not be food-challenged to attend, as the church hopes to offer a time of food sharing to anyone.
Each meal begins at 5:30 p.m. and serving will continue until food is gone or people quit arriving.
The cost of the food will be covered by a cooperative effort among the Mulberry Grove First Church of Christ, Central Illinois Food Bank, Greenville Knights of Columbus and other community agencies.
Questions may be directed to the church at 326-8238 and a message may be left if no one is available to answer the phone.
