? TOPS IL 1872, Ramsey, will meet at the Christian Church in Ramsey. Weigh-in is at 6:20 p.m. and the meeting is at 7 p.m.

Friday, July 8

? Summer Lunches for Kids is offered from 11-11:30 a.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday in Vandalia, Shobonier and Vera, and from 11-11:30 a.m. every Wednesday in Ramsey and from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. every Wednesday in Brownstown.
? Crawford-Hale American Legion Post 95 will hold bingo at the Legion Home. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and bingo begins at 7 p.m. The kitchen will be open.
? A Nar-Anon meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Northside Christian Church, 1845 W. Jackson St., Vandalia. The group meets to: learn that drug abuse is an illness; encourage addicts to seek help; replace despair with hope; improve the family attitude; help individuals regain self-confidence.

Saturday, July 9

? The Lincoln Heritage Festival is held in Vandalia parks on Fillmore Street. Registration for vendors and festival participants is from 8-9 a.m. in the Mark Greer Pavilion on Fillmore Street, and the event runs from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
? Due to the need for food at the CEFS Food Pantry, First Presbyterian Church in Vandalia is holding a food drive during the Lincoln Heritage Festival, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., in the pavilion in Rogier Park, off of Taylor Street, in Vandalia.

Sunday, July 10

? The Lincoln Heritage Festival continues in Vandalia parks on Fillmore Street.
? The Fayette County Fair gets under way at the fairgrounds in Brownstown. In the grandstand is the Jr. Miss Fayette County Fair at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults; children under 12 years of age are admitted free.

Monday, July 11

? The Fayette County Fair continues. In the grandstand are the Miss Fayette County and Little Miss Fayette County pageants, beginning at 7 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $3 for ages 6-11; children age 5 and under are admitted free.
? The Vandalia Lions Club will hold its installation night at 6 p.m. at Ponderosa Steakhouse.

Tuesday, July 12

? The Vandalia Rotary Club meets at noon at Ponderosa.
? The Fayette County Fair continues. In the grandstand is a tractor pull at 7 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $3 for children ages 6-11; children 5 and under are admitted free. Pit passes are $15.
? Friends and Families of Fayette County Hospital will hold its annual meeting for all members at 4 p.m. in the FCH Community Room.
? The Evans Public Library District Board of Trustees will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the library.

Wednesday, July 13

? The Crawford-Hale American Legion Unit 95 Auxiliary will hold its monthly meetings at the Legion Home, 321 S. Seventh St. in Vandalia. The executive committee meets at 5:30 p.m., committee meetings are at 6 p.m. and the regular meeting, with installation of officers, is at 7 p.m.

? The Fayette County Fair continues. In the grandstand is C-Bar Rodeo at 7 p.m. Admiss is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-11; children age 5 and under are admitted free. Pit passes are $15.
? Dash for Lash will hold a Glow Run 5K at Rogier Park in Vandalia. Registration begins at 7 p.m., and the run begins at 8 p.m. All proceeds go to the Madison Lash Benefit Fund. The entry fee is $30.The registration form is available online at www.thelashfamily.com.
