Local Stopping Woman Abuse office closed

The office of Stopping Woman Abuse in Vandalia has been closed.
Due to the state's budget impasse, Stopping Woman Abuse is not able to maintain the local office for services for the elderly and disabled.
In a press release, they said, "We want to be sure that all seniors are able to receive the services that they need, but we no longer can provide them at the Vandalia office.
Anyone needing those services may contact the Flora office at 662-7300 or 1-888-715-6250, or they can contact the Midland Area on Aging at 532-1853 or Heartland Human Services at 1-217-7179.
