? CenterPointe Church, located at 1616 Veterans Ave. in Vandalia, is holding free Weekly Fit Club sessions at 6 p.m. every Thursday.
? TOPS IL 1872, Ramsey, will meet at the Christian Church in Ramsey. Weigh-in is at 6:20 p.m., and the meeting is at 7 p.m.
? The Fayette County Fair continues at the fairgrounds in Brownstown with stock car racing at 7 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for ages 6-11, with ages 5 and under admitted free. Pit passes are $30.
? A NAR-ANON meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Northside Christian Church, 1845 W. Jackson St., Vandalia. The group meets to: learn that drug abuse is an illness; encourage addicts to seek help; replace despair with hope; improve the family attitude; help individuals regain self-confidence.

Friday, July 17

? Summer Lunches for Kids will provide free lunches from 11-11:30 a.m. in Lincoln Park on Gallatin Street and Rogier Park on West Fillmore Street, at the township building in Shobonier and at the township garage parking lot in Vera.
? Crawford-Hale American Legion Post 95 is holding bingo at the Post Home.
? The Fayette County Fair continues at the fairgrounds in Brownstown with monster trucks and a power wheels demo derby for kids at 7 p.m. Admission is $20 for adults and $5 for ages 4-12, with ages 3 and under admitted free. Pit passes are $30.
? The Beecher City Summer Corn Festival gets under way with a fish fry, men's beauty pageant and an outdoor movie.

Saturday, July 18

? The Fayette County Fair winds down at the fairgrounds in Brownstown with C-Bar Rodeo at 7 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-11, with ages 5 and under admitted free. Pit passes are $15. A DJ will provide music in the pavilion after the rodeo.
? The Beecher City Summer Corn Festival continues with a parade at 10 a.m., free inflatables, food, vendors, games, lawn mower races and music. Parade lineup is at 9 a.m. Parade and vendor entry forms are available online at www.beechercityilevents.weebly.com.

Monday, July 20

? Summer Lunches for Kids will provide free lunches from 11-11:30 a.m. in Lincoln Park on Gallatin Street and Rogier Park on West Fillmore Street, at the township building in Shobonier and at the township garage parking lot in Vera.
 ? The Vandalia Women of the Moose meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Vandalia Moose Lodge.
? The VFW Auxiliary meets at 7 p.m. at the VFW Home on West St. Louis Avenue in Vandalia.
? The Vandalia City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. at city hall.

Tuesday, July 21

? The Vandalia Rotary Club meets at noon at Ponderosa Steakhouse.
? An American Red Cross blood drive, sponsored by the Vandalia Rotary Club, will be held from noon-6 p.m. at the Vandalia Moose Lodge. Presenting donors will receive a commemorative St. Louis Cardinals T-shirt, while supplies last. o make an appointment, go online to www.redcrossblood.org and use the sponsor code VandaliaMoose. Donors are to present a photo ID.
? The Vandalia Board of Education meets at 5 p.m. in the district's administration center.

Wednesday, July 22

?
