Mobil/Exxon Annuitants

The ExxonMobil Annuitants Club met on Dec. 18 at Ponderosa Steakhouse in Vandalia for a Christmas party, with 32 members and four guests present.
Following the pledge to the flag, Vera Miller gave the meal prayer.
After the meal, President Dean Black gave the welcome. The tables were decorated with Christmas candles, centerpieces and candy for each member, and also a Hershey bar decorated like a snowman, made by Laura Mulhern.
Those who helped in decorating, games, and cookie and candy walk were Mike and Laura Mulhern, and Frank and Carolyn Heigert.
Elloise Black gave her appreciation for the help given to her.
Bingo was played, with 11 prizes given and a special blackout prize, which was won by Helen Wright.
Several members had made cookies and candy to share with others. Those who brought items were invited to take some off of each tray, and then other members were invited to sample some also.
Dues were collected from several members. Christmas greetings were given to all.
This month’s meeting will be at Ponderosa in Vandalia on Jan. 29. The January meeting will be paid for by the club. Deed hours were also given and will be sent in with the end of the year reports to ExxonMobil.
