• James G. Rogers, 48, 1008 N. Maple St., St. Elmo, was arrested on Jan. 19 on a charge of aggravated domestic battery. He was being held awaiting the setting of bond.
• Burr M. Waltz, 49, South Fifth Street, Vandalia, was arrested on Jan. 19 on a charge of methamphetamine, meth precursor or anhydrous ammonia trafficking. He was being held awaiting the setting of bond.
• Josiah D. Williams, 27, Indianapolis, Ind., was arrested on Jan. 18 on charges of driving while his license is suspended or revoked and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle. Bond was $1,500.
• Eddy W. Hays, 48, 330 S. Sixth St., Apt. 3, Vandalia, was arrested on Jan. 18 for failure to appear in Montgomery County court on a charge of theft. Bond was $2,000, and he was extradited to Montgomery County.

• Thomas H. Weischedel, 42, RR 2, Vandalia, was arrested on Jan. 16 on charges of felony driving while his license is revoked, suspended registration and unlawful display of registration. Bond was $35,000.
• Gaige S. Jackson, 23, 225 W. Poplar St., Brownstown, was arrested on Jan. 16 for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge. Bond was $2,500.
