FAYCO raises money for ALS research

FAYCO Enterprises recently participated in the Ice Bucket Challenge, a national fundraising activity for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) research and awareness, and raised $147 for the cause. Before the buckets were emptied, ‘We had a class to explain ALS and to tell them that we are supporting this cause,’ said Brenda Swiecicki of the FAYCO staff. Shaun Wasser dumps a bucket of ice water on Troy Drury.

Ice water is poured over one of the groups of people agreeing to be victims.

FAYCO Enterprises personnel subjected themselves to a bucket of ice water to help raise money for research and awareness of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), commonly known as ‘Lou Gehrig disease.’ Getting the ice water are, from left to right, Pam Lawler, Michelle Kozak-Mathis and Bridget Bernard. Dumping the water are Amanda Warner, Brenda Swiecicki and Nicole Longwell.
