Mobil/Exxon Annuitants

The ExxonMobil Annuitants Club met on Aug. 28 at Ponderosa Steakhouse in Vandalia for its monthly meeting and luncheon, with 22 members and five guests present.
The pledge to the flag was given, followed by the meal prayer given by Dean Black. After the meal, Black welcomed all who were present.
The secretary and treasurer reports were read and approved.
Birthdays and anniversaries for August were read, and health issues of two members were updated.
Deeds awards were given to several members who had volunteered 50 or more hours.
Next month’s meeting will be in Vandalia at the same location on Sept 25, with the club paying for the meal. Several stayed and visited.
Guests who attended were: Kenneth and Angie Hagan, Betty Philpot, Kenneth Harrison, Jane Hammond. Members present were: Dean and Elloise Black, D. R. and Pat Caldwell, Dallas Fairley, Brock and Madelon Fisher, Frank and Carolyn Heigert, Carolyn Johnson, Dick and Barb Lounsbury, Dorothy Meier, Mike and Laura Mulhern, David and Dinah Poe, Butch and Martha Shelton, Jim Sprayberry, and Junior and Betty Williams.
