Bob Dilley, the new manager of the Huddle House restaurant in Vandalia, has been around the block in the food service industry.
A North Dakota native, he’s worked for Chili’s Grill & Bar Co. in Atlanta for 25 years, many of those as a training coordinator. Now, he’s ready to be off the road and back doing front-line restaurant work. “We want this to be a comfortable place – for adults and kids as well,” Dilley said. “We’ll give them great food and great service.” Dilley has some family in the area, and his wife, Mary, is originally from Alton. While they lived in Atlanta, she sold luxury leather goods.
