Performance Detailing Ribbon-Cutting

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held last Friday at the new location of Performance Detailing.

Operated by Brian Collman and Peggy Finley, the business also involves their children: Hallie, Zach, Tabitha and Courtney. The new location, behind Champion Trophies and Ts at 2525 Veterans Ave., gives them about 3,500 square feet. That's about 10 times the space they had when they operated the business out of their garage for the past three years. Performance Detailing is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. They detail cars, trucks and motorcycles. "The people of Vandalia and Fayette County have really been good to us," Collman said. "Without their support, we couldn't have done this expansion." Participating in the ribbon-cutting ceremony were, from left, Therese Tate, Larry Cable, Heather Kingston, John Ashdown, Peggy Finley, Brian Collman, Mayor Rick Gottman, Brian Arenas, Lisa Arenas and Sally Emerick.
