Monmouth College
A Fayette County resident was among students at Monmouth College during its annual honors convocation.
Haley J. Wollerman of Bingham received the Kate Spencer Memorial Scholarship.
A senior business administration major, she is the daughter of Lynn and Julie Wollerman of Bingham.

A Patoka resident was named the recipient of a scholarship at Southern Illinois Carbondale for the fall semester.
Clinton Hood, a May graduate of Patoka High School, will receive a Dean’s Scholarship.
Hood, the son of Stacy and Gary Hood, plans to major in agriculture at SIUC.
He was an Illinois State Scholar and valedictorian of the 2014 graduating class at PHS. He also participated in FFA, including the livestock and soil judging teams; baseball; and Worldwide Youth in science and engineering.

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville has announced its dean’s list for the spring 2014 semester.
Area students on the list include:
• Brownstown – Julie Schilling.
• Mulberry Grove – Andrea Wright.
• St. Elmo – Clifton Durbin and Brooke Maxey.
• Farina – Kaitlin Glaspell and Katelyn Hebron.
• Vandalia – Will Kinney and Katelyn Vieregge.
