Tools for School taking donations

Tools for School, a program for only Fayette County in-need students to select free school supplies, is working on its 2014 fundraising campaign.
Last year, more than 600 school children – kindergarten through junior high, from Brownstown, Farina, Ramsey, St. Elmo, St. Peter and Vandalia – were served by Tools for School.
Monetary donations received from businesses, churches, organizations and individuals are used to purchase notebooks, paper, pens, crayons and other supplies noted on the Fayette County school supply lists.
Checks may be made payable and mailed to: Tools for School, First Presbyterian Church, 1221 W. Fillmore St., Vandalia, Ill. 62471.
Tools for School is directed by the Vandalia Presbyterian Church Mission Committee. For more information, call the church office, 283-0937.
