Overcup Baptist Church is holding Vacation Bible School this Wednesday through Friday, from 6-8:30 p.m.

Bethel Baptist VBS going on this week
A Vacation Bible School program titled "Discover, Decide, Defend" is being held through this Friday at Bethel Baptist Church, from 6-8:30 p.m. nightly. Parents' night will be Saturday at 6 p.m.

Flea market Saturday at Center Point
Center Point Church is sponsoring an outdoor flea market this Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather permitting.
The market is held on the parking lot of the church building, the former Rural King building on Veterans Avenue.
There is a small fee for vendors, with the money to be used to do further remodeling work on the building and for youth activities.

First Baptist of Vandalia plans VBS
First Baptist Church of Vandalia will host a VBS program called "Weird Animals – Where Jesus' Love is One of a Kind" from Sunday, June 22, to Wednesday, June 25, from 6-8:30 p.m. daily. It is open to children who have just completed kindergarten through sixth grade.
The VBS includes Bible-learning activities, teamwork-building activities, treats and other activities. Each day concludes with a celebration called the The Trail End.

Kaskaskia Church to host VBS June 27-29
Kaskaskia Church, located two miles west of Wright's Corner in northeast Fayette County, will be holding a Treasure Island VBS on June 27-29. Hours are 6-8 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday (meal provided) and 10 a.m. on Sunday (parents invited).
Ages eligible for participation are 4 years through sixth grade.

Liberty Christian VBS is next week
Liberty Christian Church will hold a Vacation Bible School program next Monday through Friday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. nightly.
The event will be under the theme of "Weird Animals – Where Jesus' Love is One of a Kind." It is open to children from 3 years old through sixth grade.

The church is located at 1593 E. 2300 Ave., north of Brownstown. For those needing a ride, the church van will pick up participants each night at Brownstown High School parking lot at 6:10 p.m. and drop them off there at 8:45 p.m.
Missionary to China to speak June 22
Brownstown United Methodist Church will host a missionary speaker on Sunday, June 22, at 2 p.m.
Speaking will be Cornelia "Connie" Wieck, a native of Marshall, who is a missionary in Southern China, near the Vietnam border.
Kolb to speak Sunday at St. Peter Lutheran
The Rev. Peter Kolb will speak on his mission work in Sri Lanka this Sunday at 10:15 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in St. Peter.
