Little Miss USA Winner

The daughter of a former Vandalia resident and granddaughter of local residents was crowned Little Miss United States on April 13.

Farelisse Lassor competed against girls from all over the country in Personality Pageants’ 2014 National Pageant, held in Seven Springs, Pa. Lassor also won first place in Overall Talent by doing a monologue, “Tink.” She is the daughter of Jeremy and Andi (Emerick) Lassor of Pittsburgh, Pa.; the granddaughter of Kent and Kathy Emerick of Vandalia; and the great-granddaughter of Harold and Judy Swofford, and Nina Emerick, all of the Vandalia area.
