The Jubilees to be at The Barn

The Jubilees from Marion, Ind., will perform at The Barn in rural Pana this Saturday at 7 p.m.
The family group consists of Warren and Kathy Johnson, and Dave and Christy Burnell.
The opening act will be Joanne Clark.
The Barn is located three miles east of Pana on Ill. Route 16, south two miles and then east one-half mile.  

Down East Boys play Saturday

The "Down East Boys" from Reidsville, N.C., will present a concert this Saturday at Bethalto Church of God.
The Southern gospel quartet will perform at 7 p.m. at the church, which is located at 800 E. Bethalto Drive in Bethalto.

Christ Tabernacle Friends Day

Friends Day will be held this Sunday at Christ Tabernacle in Herrick. Members are urged to invite someone to the 10 a.m. service that day.
After the service, a meal catered by Witt's Smokehouse will be served. It is free to visitors.

Summer lunch supplies sought

The Summer Lunches for Kids program will begin on Monday, June 9, for children in Vandalia, Vera and Shobonier.
Donations are now being sought to support the program – either creamy peanut butter and grape jelly for sandwiches or monetary donations to purchase additional items for the lunches.
