Judy Flowers, 87, of Taylor Springs, formerly of Fillmore and Vandalia, died on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylor Springs.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at First Baptist Church in Vandalia, with the Revs. Harry Kirk, Ernest Flowers and Robert Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Fillmore. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of services on Friday at the church. Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Flowers was born on Aug. 12, 1925, in Fillmore, the daughter of Harold H. and Julia Laura Ringer Wilson. She married Warren B.C. “Goog” Flowers on Nov. 9, 1943, in Paducah, Ky.; he died on May 16, 1999.
She is survived by her children, Tony Flowers and his wife Theresa, Tim Flowers and his wife Susie, and Kathy and her husband Don Sanders, all of Vandalia.
