Temperance Lodge No. 16 is hosting its inaugural golf tournament on Saturday at Indian Springs Golf Course.
The outing will include many different activities and prizes.
The four-person scramble is open to men and women, and teams will compete for trophies and monetary prizes for first, second and third places.
In addition, there will be four hole-in-one contests, closest-to-the-hole contest, longest putt and longest drive. A silent auction and 50/50 raffle will also take place during the event.
The cost for the event is $65 per person or $260 per team. The cost includes 18 holes of golf with cart, breakfast, BBQ lunch, the hole-in-one contests, and a welcome bag containing golf accessories, a ticket for a chance to win a Bud Light bucket table, a certificate for a free golf club and free drink tickets.
All proceeds from the event will go to Masonic programs, which help children and seniors in the area. A maximum of 40 people may register. Registration is open at Computer Sharks USA at 104 S. Third St., Vandalia.
If space is available, there will be registration at the course from 8-9 a.m. on Saturday.
