Halvor Ragnarok “Ragnar’ Lensgraf, 51, of Iowa City, Iowa, died on Sunday, March 20, 2011, at his home after a lengthy illness.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at First Christian Church in Brownstown, with the Rev. John Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Griffith Cemetery.
Ragnar was born on May 26, 1959, in Davenport, Iowa. He was the son of Halvor Lensgraf and Phyllis Miller Pryor.
He was employed for many years in the family business of manufacturing plastic anatomical models.
He is survived by his parents, Halvor Lensgraf of Mt. Union, Iowa, and Morgan and Phyllis Pryor of Brownstown; brothers, George of Enfield, Zachary of Denver, Colo., and Thomas and his wife Claudia of Palm Coast, Fla.; sisters, Deborah Baker of Asheville, N.C., Siri and her husband Greg Krolick of Marshall, N.C., Lisa Gould of Burlington, Iowa, and Molly and her husband Troy Holladay of Rockledge, Fla.; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ryne Lennon; brother, Laurence Frederick; and grandparents, Dr. George and Eva Lensgraf, and Lester Miller and Wilma Novak.
