The festivities resume on Saturday at 11 a.m., a Civil War Veterans Memorial Service will be held. Weather permitting, the service will be held at the Old State Burial Ground on West Edwards Street, just south of the Vandalia Moose Lodge; in the event of bad weather, the service will be held at the Moose Lodge.
Then, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, the Vandalia Statehouse will host its annual Lincoln's Birthday program.
