Thomas G. Diekroeger Jr., 55, of Gerald, Mo., died on Friday, April 16, 2010, as a result of a car accident in Columbia, Mo.
A private memorial service was held on Tuesday in Gerald, Mo. Memorials: American Lung Association; National Neurofibromatosis Foundation, 95 Pine St., 16th floor, New York, N.Y. 10005; or American Diabetes Association.
Mr. Diekroeger was born on Jan. 7, 1955, the son of Thomas Gerald and Jill Diekroeger.
He graduated from the University of Illinois with a BSME mechanical engineering degree. He grew up in Missouri and Illinois, and lived in Jacksonville, Fla., until his recent employment as an HVAC consultant with Project Solutions in Columbia, Mo.
He is survived by his wife, Sheri; children, Thomas Diekroeger III; daughter, Erica and her husband Paul Falor; granddaughter, Claire; mother, of Vandalia; brothers, Kurt, Kevin and Craig Diekroeger; sister, Kim Schroeder; and many nieces and nephews, and in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Reed England, Charla and John Rhoades, and Cheryl England of Ramsey.
