Susanne L. Michels, 48, of Greenville, died at 9:53 a.m. on Monday, April 19, 2010, at her residence.

Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday at Fairlawn Cemetery in Vandalia, with the Rev. Bruce Neece officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m.-noon on Thursday at Young Funeral Home in Greenville. Memorials: The family.

Ms. Michels was born on Jan. 26, 1962, in Aurora, the daughter of Trenton and Carolyn Keeling Hood.

She is survived by her parents; son, Kurt Whitley of Arkansas; and daughter, Kendra Whitley of Arkansas.
