Darrell F. Robinett, 74, of Centralia, died on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, at his daughter’s home in Centralia.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Irvin Funeral Home in Centralia, with John Willis officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Centralia. Visitation was to be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Robinett was born on Dec. 31, 1934, in Centralia, the son of Elvia and Helen Piercy Robinett. He married Margaret Ann Williamson on April 2, 1955, in Centralia; she died on March 24, 1973.
He was a self-employed painter for many years until retirement. He was the owner of Rescued Treasures and loved buying and rebuilding used vehicles, furniture and miscellaneous items. He loved spending time with his family and especially his long-time friend Marie Davis.
He is survived by long-time companion Marie Davis; son, Rusty Robinett and his wife Kim of Centralia; daughters, Gail and her husband Steve Barr of Centralia, Pam and her husband Dwight Terry of Centralia, and Tina and her husband Ron Ward of Centralia; and grandchildren, Lindsay Robinett, Blake Robinett, Steven Barr and his wife Shannon, Tiffany and her husband Billy White, Tanya and her husband Doug Gormann, Kylie Gormann, Loganne Terry and Hanley Presswood.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; two sisters; and a grandson, T.J. Terry.
