Blanche Lucille Sarver, 87, of Pana, died at 12:02 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 25, 2008, at Pana Community Hospital in Pana.
Services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday at Ramsey Christian Church in Ramsey, with Pastor Terry Sapp officiating. Burial was in Myers Cemetery in Herrick. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey and one hour before services on Monday at the church. Memorials: Ramsey Christian Church.
Mrs. Sarver was born on Sept. 14, 1921, in St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of George and Molly Bridges Schroeder. She married Herbert Davis in 1938; he died in 1981. She married Hiram L. Sarver in July 1971; he died on Jan. 23, 1993.
She was a retired laborer at Mallory Corp. in Pana.
She is survived by a son, Bob Davis and his wife Joanne of Taylorville; daughter, Betty and her husband Don Donaldson of Ramsey; stepsons, Bill Sarver of Cowden, Melvin Sarver of Ramsey, Jerry Sarver of Litchfield, and Bob Sarver and his wife Annette of Pana; four grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several great-stepgrandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, four brothers, a sister, a grandson and a stepgrandson.
