Nora C. Schroeder, 85, of St. Peter, died at 6:20 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, in her home.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in St. Peter, with the Rev. William Emrick officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday at Pagel Funeral Home in St. Peter and an hour before services on Tuesday at the church. Memorials: St. Peter’s Lutheran Church or donor’s choice.
Mrs. Schroeder was born on Sept. 20, 1923. She married Wilbert Schroeder on Feb. 27, 1949.
She was a homemaker, and a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, LWML and TOPS of Vandalia.
She is survived by her husband; son, Warren Schroeder and his wife Lucretia of St. Peter; daughter, Ellen Coffey of Mt. Vernon; sister, Rose and her husband Eric Schultz of Ocala, Fla.; and grandchildren, Larry Coffey of Springfield, and Kent Clark, Adam Schroeder and Erin Schroeder, all of St. Peter; and nieces, nephews and her church family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Wilbert Wayne; and sisters, Helen Heiser, Esther Bernahl and Edna Holste.
