Oleiva Hodson, 97, of Tullahoma, Tenn., died on Friday, Nov. 14, 2008, at Lynchburg Nursing Center.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Tullahoma Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Tim McGehee officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation was held an hour before services at the funeral home. Memorials: Grace Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hodson was a native of Illinois and the daughter of Louis and Jenny Yenny.
She is survived by daughters, Barbara and her husband Bill Darlington of Tullahoma, Tenn., and Sonia and her husband Gene Milleville of DuQuoin, Ill.; grandchildren, Bonnie and her husband Daven Heikkinen, Scott Darlington and his wife Dianne, Dede and her husband Jon Strasler, and David Milleville and his wife Rhonda, all of Tullahoma, Jim Milleville and his wife Susan of O’Fallon, Ill., and Amy and her husband Greg Tyner of Elkville, Ill.; great-grandchildren, Whitney Darlington, Greg Heikkinen, Jordan Milleville and Joe Strasler, all of Tullahoma, Mitchell Milleville and Katie Milleville, both of O’Fallon, Madison Tyner and Keaton Tyner, both of Elkville, and Dewon Brazelton of Tampa, Fla.; and several nieces, nephews and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Orville Hodson; daughter, Shirley Ann Hodson; three brothers; one sister; and a special friend, Corky.
