Women’s study group meets on Wednesdays

Pathways Counseling of Vandalia is offering a women’s study group based on the book, ‘Healing for Damaged Emotions,’ which is held at 1 p.m. on Wednesdays, through Nov. 5.

Through this study, the participants will encounter a journey for letting go of past and recent hurts from abuse, death and broken relationships. Chapters in the book include topics regarding guilt, grace and healing our low self-esteem and perfectionism. The group will be lead by Beth Hoffman, LCPC, licensed clinical professional counselor, for Pathways, a ministry of Baptist Children’s Home and Family Services.

There is no charge for the group, and the cost of the book used with the study is $15.

The group will meet at the Rehoboth Baptist Association building off of Ill. Route 185, beside the parking lot of the Temple Baptist Church in Vandalia. To register, call 283-0842.
