Jaydin Lee Jackson, 22 minutes, of Vandalia, died at 2:59 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 9, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond Heights, Mo.
Graveside services will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday at Pilcher Cemetery in rural Brownstown, with Pastor Wesley Bell officiating. Friends and family may gather at the cemetery at 8:30 a.m. Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia is in charge of arrangements. Memorials: Jaydin Jackson family.
Jaydin Lee was born on Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hopsital in Richmond Heights, Mo., the son of William Earl Jackson and Lacrisha Lea Taylor.
He is survived by his parents, of Vandalia; grandparents, Colleen Bolyard and stepgrandfather Roger Bolyard of Vandalia; Brian Hill of Paw Paw, and Don and Mildred Taylor Jr. of Shobonier; stepgrandfather, James Jackson of Vandalia; great-grandparents, Janet McElroy of Vernon, Lucille “Lucy” Haywood of Vandalia, Neal Cornelius of Somonauk, Frances Hill of Rockford, Donald and Nancy Taylor Sr. of Shobonier, and Janet Declue of Arkansas; and great-great-grandmother, Emma Mays of Shobonier.
