Thursday, September 4

• TOPS IL 1872, Ramsey, will meet at the Christian Church in Ramsey. Weigh-in is at 6 p.m., and the meeting is at 7 p.m. For more information, contact Sylvia Davis at 217-823-2607.

•The Fayette County Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors will meet at 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 1221 W. Fillmore St., Vandalia.

•The Vandalia Main Street Concert in the Park will feature the National Road Showcase with Bryan Garrison and friends. The concert is sponsored by Fayette County Hospital, and concessions will be provided by Our Place Youth Center.

Saturday, September 6

• Southwestern Electric Cooperative will hold its 70th annual meeting of members at Greenville Junior High School. A breakfast begins at 7 a.m., and the annual meeting is at 10 a.m.

Monday, September 8

•The Vandalia Lions Club will meet at Days Inn. The executive board meets at 5:15 p.m., and the regular club meeting is at 6 p.m.

•The Fayette Teen Issues Coalition will meet from noon-1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Vandalia. The meeting is open to all county residents concerned about the at-risk behaviors of youth.

Tuesday, September 9

•The Vandalia Rotary Club will meet at noon at Ponderosa Steakhouse.

•Girl Scout registration for girls in grades kindergarten-12 in Ramsey will be held from 6-8 p.m. in the Ramsey Grade School gym. The membershop fee for Girl Scouts and volunteers is $10, and financial assistance is available. Adult volunteers and leaders are needed. For more information, contact Shelley McDowell, 283-0204.

•The Vandalia Optimist Club will meet at 6 p.m. at Ponderosa Steakhouse.

•The Fayette County Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the large courtroom at the Fayette County Courthouse in Vandalia.

•The Evans Public Library Board of Trustees will meet at 7 p.m. at the library.

Wednesday, September 10

•Bible Blitz will be held from 7-8 p.m. at Parkview Free Methodist Church, which is located at 1507 W. Jefferson St. in Vandalia, for all children age 3 through sixth-grade age. Bible Blitz includes Bible study, music, crafts and games. The church also offers a youth group for junior high- and high school-aged students, as well as an adult Bible Study. All gatherings are open to the public.

• TOPS IL 2020 will meet at 5:45 p.m. in the Fayette County Hospital conference room. Weigh-in is from 5-5:45 p.m.
