W. Albert Hoyle, 85, of Ramsey, died on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, at Springfield Memorial Hospital in Springfield.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey, with Pastor Richard Corwin officiating. Burial will be in Welch Cemetery, rural Ramsey. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Memorials: Union Christian Church, rural Ramsey.
Mr. Hoyle was born on Oct. 14, 1922, in Fillmore, the son of William Noel and Sally Frances Donnelly Hoyle. He married Blanche Jackson on Aug. 10, 1942, in St. Charles, Mo.
He was a head molder at Northern Cast Foundry in Michigan, and he served in the Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife; sons, William Hoyle Jr. and his wife Janice of Knoxville, Tenn., W. Lee Hoyle and his wife Kathy of Fair Haven, Mich., and Randy Hoyle and his wife Laurie of Rockford; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and a sister.
