Harold D. ‘Dean’ Williams, 64, of Ramsey, died at 7:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008, at Pana Community Hospital in Pana.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey, with Pastor Terry Sapp officiating. Burial will be in Ramsey Cemetery, Ramsey. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until time of services on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials: Donor’s choice.
Mr. Williams was born on Dec. 9, 1943, in Yuma, Colo., the son of Roy Clifford and Zella Mariah Hansford Williams. He married Alice Mae Rhodes on Sept. 9, 1965, in Valparaiso, Ind.
He was retired from the position of clinical supervisor at Vandalia Correctional Center, and member of the University of Illinois Alumni.
He is survived by his wife; son, Bryan Williams and his wife Shannon of Ramsey; brothers, Roy Williams and his wife Norma of Mountain View, Mo., and Rick Mansfield and his wife Pat of Gardner; sisters, Eva Mae Werry of Mountain View, Mo., and Mary Lou and her husband John Nortrup of Stronghurst; grandsons, Blayke Mitchel and Bryan Hunter Dean; mother-in-law, Helen Rhodes of Ramsey; special extended family, Ronald, Loretta, Virgil and Tammy Rhodes, Doris Heggie, Joyce and Randy Milligan, and Shirley and Jim Dial; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two grandsons, Blane and Shane.
