George Crickman, 77, of Tucson, Ariz., and formerly of Vandalia, died on Saturday, July 5, 2008, in Tucson.
Visitation and services were held at Evergreen Mortuary in Tucson. Burial was in Holy Hope Cemetery in Tucson. Memorials: TMC Hospice, Peppis House, 5301 E. Grant Road, Tucson, Ariz., 85712.
Mr. Crickman grew up in Vandalia and moved to Tucson in 1960.
He managed a chicken ranch from 1962-69, and worked for Marana Schools (Thornydale Elementary) until his retirement. He and his wife, RoseMary, traveled across the United States in their motor home, and also traveled to Europe on the Queen Mary II. He loved bingo and his family.
He is survived by his wife; children, Kathy and her husband Rod, Debra, Peggy and her husband Mike, James, Tim and his wife Kate, Deb and her husband Chip, Dan and his wife Janet, Colleen and her husband Dave, Dennis and his wife Ellie, and Maureen; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
