Christopher ‘Chris’ Michael Daniels, 34, of Belleville, died at noon on Friday, May 23, 2008, at his home.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Collinsville, with Pastor Michael Walther officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Collinsville. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Herbert A. Kassly Funeral Home in Collinsville and from 8:30 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday at the church. Memorials: The family.
Mr. Daniels was born on Aug. 14, 1973, in Belleville, the son of Michael D. and Cynthia M. Pratt Daniels. He and Michelle Cocagne were married on Nov. 24, 2000, in Vandalia.
He was a glass technician for Martin Glass in Belleville.
He is survived by his wife; parents; children, Luke Michael Daniels and Anne Kathryn Daniels, both of Belleville; father- and mother-in-law, John and Gail Cocagne of Vandalia; siblings, Michele and her husband Jeffrey Fiudo of Troy, and Robert Daniels and his wife June of Collinsville; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Jennifer and her husband Tapan Virvani of Indianapolis, Ind., Patrick Cocagne and his wife Toni of Auburn, Nicholas Cocagne of Vandalia, and Timothy Cocagne of Charleston; and nephews and nieces, Jakob and Zackary Fiudo, Caitlyn and Emily Golden, Rachel Daniels, Zoe and Jett Cocane, and Alex, Ashley and Alexis Cocagne.
