Vandalia Community High School seniors Brenden Wasmuth and Mitch Johnson have both earned all-South Central Conference-East postseason accolades.
Wasmuth made the league’s second team after leading the Vandals in scoring (10.8 ppg) and assists (81). Johnson garnered an honorable mention after finishing second on the team in scoring (10.1 ppg) and leading the Vandals in rebounding (5.1 per game).
First-team SCC-East selections were: Pana’s Frank Schmitz and Colton Waddington, Greenville’s Derek Atchison, Litchfield’s Michael Niehaus and Hillsboro’s Ryan Reincke.
Other second-team selections are: Greenville’s Kyle Dannaman and Rutger Neece, Hillsboro’s Jordan Chiles, Staunton’s Phil Rhodes and Litchfield’s Anthony Robinson.
Litchfield’s Corbin Govaia earned an honorable mention along with Johnson.
