Vicky L. Reynolds, 60, of North Aurora and formerly of Vandalia, died at 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at Provena Mercy Medical Center in Aurora.
Services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Glenwood Cemetery in Shelbyville. Visitation was held two hours before services on Saturday at Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville. Memorials: Odin Family and Friends Council, Odin Care Center, 300 Green St., Odin.
Mrs. Reynolds was born on Feb. 12, 1948, in Vandalia, the daughter of Ralph O. and Barbara Stansberry White. She married Lawrence Larry Reynolds on May 9, 1981, in Kankakee.
She was reared in the Vandalia area, attending school in Bluff City and Vandalia before moving to Kankakee, where she finished high school. She worked as a switchboard operator at several hospitals before spending the past 12 years at Provena Mercy Medical Center. She was a long-time member of the Congregational Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband; mother, at Odin Care Center; sisters, Jackie and her husband Roger Chandler of Brownstown, Mary and her husband Mike Conlon of Odin, and Dana and her husband Patrick Hightower of Grapevine, Texas; brothers, John White and his wife Robin of San Antonio, Texas, and Tim White and his wife Cindy of McKinney, Texas; father-in-law, Floyd Reynolds and his wife Irene of Newton; brother-in-law, Craig Reynolds of Schaumburg; sister-in-law, Denise Kirk of Fond du lac, Wisc., many nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; sister, Dawn Elizabeth, in infancy; grandparents, Bluford and Mary White of Shelbyville, and Earl and Cecile Stansberry of Shelbyville, formerly of St. Peter.
