Imogene L. Conner, 90, of Farina, died at 3:08 a.m. on Saturday at St. Anthonys Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
Services were to be held at 2 p.m. on Monday at Claggett Funeral Home in Brownstown, with Jim Ziegler officiating. Burial will be in Griffith Cemetery, Brownstown. Visitation was to be held one hour before services at the funeral home. Claggett Funeral Home in Brownstown was in charge of arrangements. Memorials: Lutheran Care Center in Altamont or donors choice.
Mrs. Conner was born on March 6, 1917, in rural Mason, the daughter of William Roscoe and Paula Beal Holland. She married Theron Conner on May 3, 1941; he died in 1994; he died in 1994.
She was a homemaker and a member of Macedonia Christian Church in Farina.
She is survived by daughters, Roberta and her husband Phil Sapp of Effingham, Nila and her husband Don Byers of Decatur, and Sharon and her husband Gene Cannon of Brownstown; brother, John Holland and his wife Ruth of Mason; sister, Mary Cornwell of Medical Lake, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and nine great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Larry; three brothers; four sisters; two stepgrandsons and a great-grandson.
