Arlene Moeller Wright, 76, Vandalia

Arlene Moeller Wright, 76, of Vandalia, died at 7:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, at Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Vandalia, with the Rev. Peter Kolb officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at Hohlt & File Funeral Home in Vandalia. Memorials: American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or donors choice.

Mrs. Wright was born on Sept. 13, 1931, in Vandalia, the daughter of Edgar and Cordelia Bertram Rethorn. She married Walter T. Moeller on May 2, 1948, in Vandalia; he died on Aug. 17, 2002. She married Barney Wright on Sept. 6, 2003, in Vandalia; he died on Sept. 29, 2005.

She was a licensed practical nurse at Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia and Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Greenville. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Vandalia.

She is survived by a son, Keith Moeller and his wife Lori of St. Peter; daughters, Brenda and her husband Ron Lange of Zalma, Mo., Diane and her husband Virgil Richards of Vandalia, Jody Foster of Lilburn, Ga., and Shelly and her husband Jerry Day of Vandalia; 15 grandchildren; and 23 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; daughter, Vanessa Moeller; brother, Kenneth; and sister, Verna Schmid.
