Paula Traylor Craycroft, 66, of Overland Park, Kan., and formerly of Vandalia, died at 2:15 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at her residence.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia, with the Rev. John McIntosh officiating. Private burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery in Vandalia at a later date. Memorials: Friends and Families of Fayette County Hospital or Evans Public Library in Vandalia.
Ms. Craycroft was born on Dec. 8, 1941, in Vandalia, the daughter of Philip Paul and Marian Alice Traylor Craycroft. She married Stephen Oldfield on April 18, 1965, in Florence, Ala.
She was a former secretary and accounting clerk at Fayette County Hospital, a member of First United Methodist Church in Vandalia, and former member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Women of the Moose, both in Vandalia.
She is survived by daughters, Jennifer L. and her husband Andrew McCullough of Raymore, Mo., and Karen and her husband Shane Hawkins of Carterville; grandchildren, Madelyn and Andrew McCullough, and Conner, Caden and Colton Hawkins; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Traylor Craycroft; and sisters, Sheila Craycroft and Ellyn Flood.
